Our Ramadan 2026 campaign reached a record 2,100 families in 9 regions of Morocco, with the commitment of 180 volunteers and our corporate partners.

The Ramadan Solidarity 2026 campaign concluded in mid-April. For the tenth consecutive year, Maghreb Secours coordinated a nationwide supply chain to deliver food parcels to vulnerable families during the holy month.

Key figures

  • 2,100 families supported, compared with 1,800 in 2025
  • 9 regions covered: Casablanca-Settat, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Marrakech-Safi, Béni Mellal-Khénifra, Fès-Meknès, Drâa-Tafilalet, Guelmim-Oued Noun, Souss-Massa and Oriental
  • 180 volunteers working in the field
  • 14 corporate donors helping fund the campaign
  • Total funding raised: MAD 1.4 million

What was in the 2026 food parcel?

Each family received a parcel worth around MAD 600, containing:

  • Oil, sugar, flour, semolina and pulses
  • Powdered milk for households with children
  • Dates, tea and honey
  • A MAD 100 grocery voucher valid until the end of Shawwal, allowing families to choose items suited to their needs

Putting dignity first

Once again, we chose home deliveries instead of large public distributions. This approach:

  • Preserves recipients' dignity, without long public queues
  • Helps identify the most difficult situations, including people confined to bed, single mothers and older people
  • Builds direct connections with volunteers, who can refer cases needing ongoing support

Thank you to our business partners

These distributions would not have been possible without our donors. This year, 14 businesses contributed, from major national companies to family-run small and medium-sized firms. In line with our approach, each company can choose the area or group of recipients it would particularly like to support.

As an association serving the public interest, donations fall under the tax arrangements applicable to corporate giving, within the limits set by Moroccan law.

Preparing for Ramadan 2027

From September 2026, we are seeking corporate partners for Ramadan 2027, with a target of 3,000 families. Whether your organisation would like to fund a standard parcel, a region or a specific target, please get in touch.
